五分律:有諸學家,僧作學家羯磨,若比丘無病先不受請,於是學家自手受食,是比丘應向諸比丘悔過:「我墮可呵法。今向諸大德悔過。」是名悔過法。
僧祇律:有學家,僧作學家羯磨,比丘先不請而往,自手受食,若噉若食,是比丘應向餘比丘悔過言:「長老,我墮可呵法。」此法悔過。
四分律:有諸學家,僧作學家羯磨,若比丘知是學家,先不受請,無病自手受食食,是比丘應向餘比丘悔過言:「大德,我犯可呵法所不應為,我今向大德悔過。」是名悔過法。
十誦律:有諸學家中,僧作學家羯磨,若比丘知是學家中,僧作學家羯磨,先不請,後自來自手受飯食,是比丘應余比丘邊出罪,如是言:「諸大德,我墮可呵法,所不應作,是可出法,我今出。」是第三波羅提提捨尼法。
根有律:若複苾芻知是學家,僧與作學家羯磨,苾芻先不受請,便詣彼家自手受食,是苾芻應還村外住處,詣諸苾芻所,各別告言:「大德,我犯對說惡法,是不應為,今對說悔。」是名對說法。

Horner:Whatever are those families that are agreed upon as
learners, whatever monk, if he is not invited beforehand
(and) not ill, having accepted among such families as are
agreed upon as learners solid food or soft food with his won
hand, should eat it or partake of it, it should be confessed
by that monk, saying: ‘Your reverences, I have fallen into a
blameworthy matter, unbecoming, which ought to be confessed;
