五分律:若比丘自不如法,惡、瞋故,於異分中取片、若似片,作波羅夷,謗無波羅夷比丘,欲破彼梵行,是比丘後時,若問、若不問,言:「我是事異分中,取片、若似片,住瞋故謗。」僧伽婆屍沙。
僧祇律:若比丘瞋恨、不喜,於異分中小小事,非波羅夷,以波羅夷法謗,欲破彼比丘梵行。此于後時,若檢校、若不檢校,便言:「我以異分中小小事,住瞋故說。」僧伽婆屍沙。
四分律:若比丘以瞋恚故,於異分事中取片,非波羅夷比丘,以無根波羅夷法謗,欲壞彼清淨行,彼于異時,若問、若不問,知是異分事中取片,是比丘自言:「我瞋恚故,作是語。」作是語者,僧伽婆屍沙。
十誦律:若比丘瞋瞋故不喜,異分異分事中取片、若似片法,非波羅夷比丘,以波羅夷法謗,欲破彼比丘淨行,是比丘後時,若撿校、若不撿校,知是異分異分事中取片、若以片法,是比丘住瞋法,語諸比丘言:「我瞋故,如是語」,僧伽婆屍沙。
根有律:若複苾芻懷瞋不捨,故于清淨苾芻,以異非分波羅市迦法謗,欲壞彼淨行,後於異時,若問、若不問,知此是異非分事,以少相似法而為譭謗,彼苾芻由瞋恚故,作是語者,僧伽伐屍沙。

Whatever monk, malignant, malicious and ill-tempered, should
defame a monk with a charge involving defeat, taking up some
point as a pretext in a legal question really belonging to
something else, saying: ‘Thus perhaps may I drive him away from
this Brahma-life,’ then, if afterwards, he, being pressed or not
being pressed, the legal question turning out to belong to
something different, if the monk confesses his malice and
(confesses) having taken up some point as a pretext: it is an
offence entailing a formal meeting of the Order.
