五分律:若比丘半月內浴,除因緣,波逸提。因緣者,病時、作時、行時、風雨時、熱時,是名因緣。
僧祇律:若比丘減半月浴,除余時,波夜提。余時者,春後一月半、夏初一月,此二月半,是熱時、病時、風時、雨時、作時、行時。
四分律:若比丘半月洗浴,無病比丘應受,不得過,除余時,波逸提。余時者,熱時、病時、作時、風時、雨時、道行時,此是余時。
十誦律:若比丘半月內浴,波夜提。除因緣,因緣者,春殘一月半、夏初一月,是二月半,名熱時,除病時、風時、雨時、作時、行路時,是名因緣。
根有律:若複苾芻半月應洗浴,故違而浴者,除余時,波逸底迦。余時者,熱時、病時、風時、雨時、風雨時,此是時。

Horner:Whatever monk should bathe (at intervals of ) less
than half a month, except at a right time, there is an
offence of expiation. In this case this is a right time:
thinking, ' a month and a half of the summer remains', (and)
' the first month of the rains' --these are the two and a
half months when there is hot weather, when there is fever
wheather; at a time of illness, at a time of work, at a time
of going on a journey, at a time of wind and rain. This is a
right time in this case. |
