五分律:若比丘語彼比丘:「共到諸家,與汝多美飲食」,既到,不與,作是言:「汝出去!共汝若坐、若語不樂,我獨坐、獨語樂」,欲令彼惱,波逸提。
僧祇律:若比丘語比丘言:「長老,共汝入聚落,到彼當與汝食」,若自與、若使人與,後欲驅故,便言:「汝去!我共汝住不樂,我獨住樂」,作是因緣不異,波夜提。
四分律:若比丘語餘比丘,作如是語:「大德,共至聚落,當與汝食」,彼比丘竟不教與是比丘食,語言:「汝去!我與汝一處若坐、若語不樂,我獨坐、獨語樂」,以此因緣,非餘,方便遣去者,波逸提。
十誦律:若比丘語彼比丘:「大德,來至諸家,使與汝多美食」,是比丘不使與彼比丘食,如是言:「汝去!共汝若坐、若語,不樂,我獨坐、獨語樂」,欲令惱故作是念,令是比丘乃至少時得惱,是因緣故不異,波夜提。
根有律:若複苾芻語餘苾芻,作如是語:「具壽,共汝詣俗家,當與汝美好食,令得飽滿」,彼苾芻至俗家竟,不與食,語言:「汝去!我與汝共坐、共語,不樂,我獨坐、獨語樂」,作是語時,欲令生惱者,波逸底迦。

Horner:Whatever monk, saying to a monk, ‘Come, your
reverence, we will go into a village or little town for
alms-food,’ either causing to be given or not causing to be
given (alms-food) to him, should dismiss him, saying, ‘Go
away, your reverence, neither talking nor sitting down with
you comes to be a comfort for me; either talking or sitting
down alone comes to be a comfort for me’—if doing it for
just this object, not for another, there is an offence of
expiation. |
