五分律:若比丘到白衣家自恣,多與飲食,若餅、若褂、若不住其家食,須二三缽,應受出外與餘比丘共食,若無病過是受及不與餘比丘共食,波逸提。
僧祇律:若比丘往白衣家,自恣與餅褂,得受兩三缽,出外共不病比丘食,若過受,不共食,波夜提。
四分律:若比丘至白衣家,請比丘與餅褂,若比丘欲、須者,當二三缽受,還至僧伽藍中,應分與餘比丘食,若比丘無病,過二三缽受持,還至僧伽藍中,不分與餘比丘食者,波逸提。
十誦律:若比丘到白衣家,自恣多與,若餅若褂,諸比丘若須,若二若三缽應受,若過是取,波夜提。二三缽受已出外,應與餘善比丘,是事法爾。
根有律:若複眾多苾芻往俗家中,有淨信婆羅門居士,殷勤請與餅、褂、飯,苾芻須者應兩三缽受,若過受者,波逸底迦。既受得已還至住處,若有苾芻應共分食,此是時。

Horner:If a monk, going up to a family, (who) asking, should
invite him (to take) cakes or barley-gruel, tow or three
bowlfuls may be accepted by a monk desiring them. Should he
accept more than that, there is an offence of expiation.
Having accepted two or three bowlfuls, having taken them
back from there, they must be shared together with the
monks. This is the proper course in this case. |
